Practical information

N° participants: 30

Language: the majority of lectures, discussions, and case studies are conducted in English and French. Candidates must possess a minimum of B2 level (or equivalent) in both languages. Proficiency in English and French is also essential as preliminary reading materials are provided in both languages.

Location: lectures take place on the Pessac campus of the University of Bordeaux.

Participant profile: the course is designed for Master and doctoral students, as well as post-doctoral fellows from all disciplines with an interest in collective bargaining systems and the contemporary regulation of labour relations across countries (with priority given to candidates from law, sociology, industrial relations and labour economics).

Applications: candidates are required to provide a CV, a cover letter detailing their project for attending the summer school.

Deadline: March 15th, 2026.

Participation fee:

› 200 € for participants from the University of Bordeaux (including lunches, coffee breaks and social programme costs)

› 300 € for other participants without accommodation (including lunches, coffee breaks and social programme costs)

› 600 € for other participants with accommodation (including lunches, coffee breaks and social programme costs)

Note: 5 students may be exempted from the fee. To apply for an exemption, these students must specify why they would like to participate and why they would like to obtain financial support in their cover letter.
